Everything on the earth and in the heavenly realms are subject to the court system of Heaven.
Everything God has created has an authority and an order to it. All of heaven and creation understand this divine authority. We in our humanity, are not so aware of the heavenly authority and court system.
When we learn this court system and the authority we have in Jesus to step into that court system, then we can reclaim much and bring a defence to what Satan has attempted to charge us with.
There are times in our lives when we will have seasons where hardship and great difficulties will occur. Within those times it’s really important we discern what’s going on, so those times aren’t prolonged and those times aren’t weighing us down. God is absolutely good and His Word is very clear in stating that He doesn’t bring temptings that cause hardships over us.
James 1:14-15 says: Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed. Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death.
We get ourselves in a mess by our own desires and being enticed by the enemy.
Psalm 139:16 – Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.
God writes our pre-created days BEFORE we were born. Every one of those magnificent days from God are written in your prophetic destiny book. What is written in our books is according to his purpose.
Your Substance = your DNA – all that makes us human is what is written in your book about YOU. All that makes you who you are – EVEN the number of your days.
God has said how many days you will be on the earth for. May not one day be taken from you prematurely.
Ephesians 2:10 – For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
Our destiny was prepared before we walked in it – that destiny is for good works! Our destinies are PREPLANNED for an appointed time. We can try and speed up that time. We can make wrong choices etc. that cause us to miss those times. Those preplanned destinies can be disrupted, delayed, stolen, held back. When we MISREAD and ACT UPON a situation, we propel ourselves into a season outside of the will of the Lord.
When we READ the season CORRECTLY and proceed with discernment and wisdom, we propel ourselves into a season INSIDE the will of the Lord.
In order for God’s purposes to be fulfilled we need to live out our destiny.
1 Peter 5:8 warns us to ‘Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about seeking whom he may devour’
This is where the Courts of Heaven come in… It silences and revokes everything that Satan has devoured that was to be yours.
WHAT IS THE COURT OF HEAVEN?
The courts of heaven is the legal system of God’s government.
Dan 7:10 ‘Ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him. The court was seated and the books were opened’
It’s the place where you rightfully claim back everything that was stolen off you based upon what Satan has stolen. Our destiny has been given to us by God. A big part of it is up to us to steward it well. Just as equal to that is the fact that Satan’s one goal is to rob, steal and destroy your destiny.
This is where the Court of Heaven enters.
As heirs to the kingdom of God we have legal access to go before the Lord and state the case before us. Think about the court process in the natural – the judge will throw out a case that isn’t sound and that doesn’t have a certain level of legal dealings. You need evidence – you need testimony – you need a favouring judge – you need witnesses = all these things are in the Court of Heaven.
If you have a rightful case then you have the rightful verdict – the innocent shall be set free.
Colossians 2:14 – Jesus, having wiped out the handwriting of ordinances (law) that was against us, which was contrary to us. He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
The ‘handwriting of requirements before us’ = satan’s case against us and takes advantage of the law – Jesus death takes it all away and He legally, by the law of heaven takes it out of the way.
Because the court in heaven is a legal domain in the heavenly realm. There are protocols that need to be followed. For example in our judicial system we have the Judge, the Jury, the Defendant, the Attorney, the Prosecutor.. Each person has a specific role and purpose. It’s the same system in the heavenly realm. The court system is for us to prove our innocence and to be set free. All accusations are brought before the judge for the verdict.
The court in heaven is the place where spiritual verdicts are set forth. The court of heaven is based on authority, uncorrupted and pure in form.
Your authority as a child of the most high God, saved by the blood of Jesus, and given grace to accomplish your destiny has a higher authority than any charge brought against you by the devil. Satan can only bring a charge against you, if you have given him the authority to do so.
If doors are open that allow satan and the powers of darkness to gain access into your life, then he has an authority to remain. You have greater authority over the areas that you have been given authority over.
I have full authority to change me – to bind and loose. As a parent I have authority to stand in my authority as a parent over seeing my kids fulfil their destiny – to bind and to loose.
When it comes to matters of our city and state it’s so important to vote for faith filled leaders – because they have a governmental level of authority on the earth realm.
KING & PRIEST
In The old testament there were kings and priests who had the authority to bind and release things both naturally and spiritually. When Jesus came that king and priest authority got transferred over to us.
Rev 1:6 – To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father, to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
We now operate with The king authority which is the authority in the natural dominion – government, land, provision etc.
The priest authority which is the spiritual dominion – whether breaking the powers of darkness, taking our own responsibility to being cleansed of sin etc.
We now have the authority to pray over the powers of darkness / The Antichrist Spirit that roams the earth
SATAN & THE COURT HEAVEN
There are written accounts in the Word where Satan has gone into the court system of Heaven and has asked permission to disrupt believers lives.
Job – a Man who had every blessing you could want – lost it all in a blink of an eye. Family, children, job, friends, business, health… He eventually claimed it all back double fold, but we read in Job 1 how Satan – the accuser, was found going across the earth and up and down on it and found Job. Satan presents the case before the Lord to sift Job to see where his faith really stood, not once but twice!
Simon Peter – In the book of Luke we read how Jesus gave the commission to Simon Peter to build the church and spread the gospel far and wide. What a huge destiny Simon Peter had! Satan knew this too.
In Luke 22:31- And the Lord said, “Simon, Simon, Satan has desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat”
‘desired to have you’ – means here ‘to demand for trial’
Jesus said – But I have prayed for you, that your faith fail not. Jesus petitioned and made a request on Simon Peters behalf.
THE BLOOD & THE TESTIMONY
Rev 12:11 – And they overcame him (SATAN) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony
1 – Before you pray or state your case in the Court of Heaven, you need to be washed in the blood of Jesus. It is his blood that cancels our sins and makes us clean to even be there. Take communion, pray your sins are forgiven, and forgive those who have sinned against you.
2 – Ask the Holy spirit to reveal to you any hidden sin or areas that need to be cleansed and washed in the blood.
Romans 12:1 says we are to ‘present our bodies as a living sacrifice – holy and acceptable to God.’
3 – Pray, “I come before the Lord as a living sacrifice with fear, asking to be found acceptable to God. I ask for the blood of Jesus to speak on my behalf.”
Once you spend time praying into this, begin to then prophecy what God has already promised over you.
Use HIS WORD to bring the testimony of you into account. Eg. As your word says in
Galatians 4 “I am are no longer a slave, but a son/daughter, an heir through God. So as an heir, I come with the authority of an heir to retrieve all that is mine”.
If you’re sick state …
Ezekiel 18 – I turn away from my sins that I have committed and I shall keep your statutes and do what is just and right, your word decrees that “I shall surely live; and not die“
Jesus has already decreed that by his stripes and I am ALREADY HEALED…
You word says in Deuteronomy
“I am Blessed in the city, blessed in the field, Blessed shall be the fruit of my womb.. Blessed shall I be when I come in, and blessed shall I be when I go out.”
So I declare that my children, my job, my path is BLESSED by your hand.
THE HOLY SPIRIT
Is our advocate who speaks on our behalf. Begin to ask the holy spirit to reveal to you what was stolen, where and when did it start. Was there a curse spoken out, was there an action that happen, what sin gave the authority for you to be sifted?
The court of Heaven is real. You are called to live your remaining days in blessing and favor.
Don’t allow satan to bring charge against you and sentence you to an earthly prison sentence.
Jesus died for your freedom – on earth as it is in heaven.
